April

April 2nd
Isaacs Preschool Easter Party
Isaac was so excited to see me- made me smile!

And Isabel was so excited to see Daisy-Dog

My "easter bunny" juice boxes were a bust. They looked like mice:(

Two cute girlies!

The Egg Hunt Line UP!!

Go-Go-Go

Many eggs found by all!

April 3rd
 Our Easter FootPrint painting
Isabel was more interested in doing it herself. I forgot to take a picture (I will at some point) but they made "foot carrots."

Then we of course needed to paint carrots on Isaacs feet. This boy LOVES body paint.

Then.... I PAINTED ISABEL'S TOES!!!!  Aren't they so stinking cute and tiny?!

Once Daddy was home from work we colored eggs!

I seriously can't get over her pink toesies.

Daddy and Isaac, hard at work.

 April 5th
Easter Morning
Last year we filled Atticus' basket with eggs but they were empty and when Isaac asked about it we told them that Atticus' eggs were filled with love. The answer only partially satisfied him. So this year I filled Atticus' basket with love AND treats!

I love this, just woke up, shocked, rosy cheeked boy.

"WHAT?!?! A superman egg?"

Belly- was pretty happy about her basket too!

TREATS!!

She really loved the peeps.

He really loved the kit-kat's. Just like his big brother who called them kitty-kat's.

It rained and rained and rained Sunday morning so the egg hunt was inside.

Such an Isaac face.

Who need breakfast when you have starburst jelly-beans.

Easter Dinner with the Fish Fam
Isaac got to hold Alexis!

Grandma Becky sent "Don't Eat the Bunny" game that was a huge hit with the kids. Lots of screams and laughter. It was a really fun Easter. So grateful for the opportunity to reflect on our Saviors love and the importance of his sacrifice for each and every one of us. So grateful to know that we will see our sweet Atticus again. That the Fishs' will see their sweet Caleb again. That we are eternal families.

April 17th-- Bluebonnets
I have decided that photographers are worth every penny. It is so hard, not to mention stressful trying to get a decent picture of your kids. I swear the second my kids see the camera they instantly become incapable of sitting still and smiling like a normal people.

Oh and don't worry, the "cast" on Isaac's arm is because he "broke" his wrist. It's a really awesome game he likes to play ever since my knee surgery... One of those "pick your battle" things, so he got to keep it on.

We found this little lady...

This kid-- man he wears me out but I sure love him...

and his addictive smile-- love love love.

This is a total Isabel in action shot. She sings her little heart out and points her fingers conducting her own little symphony.

Loving on big big brother.

Getting the three of them was-- interesting. So this is what we ended up with.

No photo session is complete without tears:)

April 18th-- Rennesaince Fair
For the life of me I cannot figure out why these picture won't upload and its driving me bonkers. As soon as I figure it out I will  post them. It was truly a sight to behold.

April 21st--
Isabel LOVE LOVE LOVES to dress-up. The problem is, is that unless we are at Reagy's house, she only has boy dress-ups. She wore this monster hat for two solid hours.

Pointing out her monster toes.

Even monsters can be reverent!

I took the hat off for her to eat her yogurt and she flipped, so back on it went.

April 22nd--
She insisted on wearing her tutu dress. PS it's size 9 months, and although a bit snug, it still fits.

She is QUEEN of sneaking into the pantry and helping her self to a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I have to make sure the pantry door is closed or I am guaranteed a mess.

April 23rd--
Her new squishy face! We kinda  love it.

April 24th--
The Huish clan went to Disney and ate a "sugar stick" aka churro for Atticus!

April 25th--
I spy with my little eye... note the sweatband around her ankle. She wore it ALL afternoon.

April 30th
Jackson Pollock Day at New World

Knowing this day was coming was emotional. Missing Atticus intensified. I really wanted to go and watch Isaac paint (yes Im the only crazy mom that went last time and this time) but I knew I would be disappointed in myself if I cried and made a scene so I really prepared myself.

It brings tender painful memories of my sweet Atticus. We took him to school that morning so he could paint with his class. His classmates were so excited to see him and he had so much fun. His chubby smile laughter and happiness meant the world to me. But it hurts. I miss him.

Atticus' Jackson Pollock painting from his art portfolio was one of his favorites. We have it framed in our house. Knowing this day was coming was emotional. Missing Atticus intensified. I really wanted to go and watch Isaac paint (yes Im the only crazy mom that went last time and this time) but I knew I would be disappointed in myself if I cried and made a scene so I really prepared myself.

Atticus April 26, 2012. Hard to believe that this picture is just one day short of a month of his passing. Hold you kiddo's parents. Life can take a drastic horrifying turn.

***
Thanks to this cute guy, my mind was completely focussed on him and the fun he was having.

The painters are well equipped and ready to splatter!

Oh this boy!

And this teacher.... I tell ya, Mrs. Cherry is THE BEST.

Nothing like a little preschool paint war!

Clearly, Isaac hated every minute of if!!

This kids could LIVE in face paint. He loves it. He was the only kid in his class that did NOT want to wash his hands and face.

Id say the day was a success!

A masterpiece Jackson Pollock would be proud of.

Isaac was pretty proud too!

This picture cracks me up.
Peter-- I want to wash my hands. I don't like being dirty.
Isaac-- Are you kidding me? This is the BEST day EVER!
