April 18th-- Grandma Lori came to visit!
Our first stop, to "see" Atticus.
April 19th-- Dallas Zoo
They got to feed the giraffe. Isaac wanted to do it but would chicken out as soon as the giraffe got close and would drop or chuck the food! Goof ball!
We got to see the elephants play in the water. After his "shower" he went in the water and splashed around. It was really cool.
Oh hello Sunshine!!
Isaac loved having my mom come, he kept her very busy!
The Dallas Zoo has a children's area that has a "river" to splash in. It was a big hit for Isaac and he loved showing us his water tricks!
I love his smile!
Coloring Egg... BUST
Im not sure how I managed to ruin hard boiled eggs and dye, but I did. It was quite comical actually. But it didn't matter too much, Isaac was over after five minutes.
But for those five minutes, he thought it was pretty awesome.
Our breathtaking masterpieces...
While coloring eggs, Isabel did was she does best, rolled around!
Isaac and Grandma prepping the strawberry pretzel jello for Easter! (One of those yummy things that I don't particularly love to make, so I make my mom when she comes to town!). Thanks mom!
April 20th-- EASTER
Grandma.. Atticus.. Isaac.. Isabel..
I actually kept it together until we got to church. Then I totally fell apart. I am so grateful for the gospel and the knowledge that we will be together again. That earthly death is not the end.
This kids was beyond excited about his Easter scooter and really wanted to see the Easter Bunny to tell him thanks!
Cool new Spidey shades!
Spidey glasses. Spidey jammers. Spidey Easter eggs.
and.... TREATS!!!
Showing off his mad skills!
The Easter Egg hunt on our lovely lush grass... (ugh! It's a work in progress)
"It's SO heavy!!!"
Daddy taught Isaac an awesome trick... throw the plastic egg in the air and hit it with the baseball bat. BOYS!!! The dinky egg I can part with, the crushed kit-kit... is where I draw the line!
Then off course it turned into a T-Ball game... BOYS!!
This little thing joined the Easter party about an hour after Isaac woke up with some totally awesome hair! Good morning princess!!
Isaac was SOOO excited that the Easter Bunny brought Isabel 'Frozen.' So was mommy;)
Sister got baby food from the Easter Bunny.
Her chubby cheekers.... I really like them!
Easter Outfit bliss!
Decent smile...
Extreme smile...
Im outta here smile!!
Love this picture.
The plan was to have the Fish family over for Easter dinner, but Isabel woke up with a cough and with baby Caleb in the NICU, we didn't want to risk it. We had them drive by the house and my mom and I packed up the food so they could eat it at the hospital. We were bummed but totally understood. Mr. Caleb needs to stay healthy!!
Easter is another tender day. I am so grateful for the knowledge that death is not the end. That we are an eternal family. That we WILL see Atticus again. I will get my change to raise him. Love on him. Kiss him. Play baseball with him (I think he will be very proud of me and my increased skill level). I am so grateful for the sacrifices our Savior made in our behalf. So grateful for our eternal family, but it is a tender day. A reminder that our first born is no longer here with us. It brings a whole new light on this "holiday" business.
I had to step out of church while the primary (children ages 3-11) sang and silently cried in the hall. Then another musical number, although beautiful, opened the flood gates and I had to step outside the building and cried in my moms arms. I miss him. There is no greater pain.
I love you sweet Atticus. I miss you so very very much. You are always on my mind. Always. xoxoxo

Chalk paint-- thank you Pinterest!
You spray vinegar on it afterwards and the paint puffs up!
Isabel is starting to get "peek-a-boo!"
As you can imagine, it's pretty hard to leave this cute face!
She loves fruit in the mesh thingy.
Girls night out... SO fun. Gaston was by far the best!
April 25th-- "Beauty and the Beast" at the Larsen's house!
Not great quality but she looked so cute!!
She is such a good baby.
Enjoying raspberries!!
We had a BBQ at our house... Eric ground his own hamburger (brisket... tenderloin...) and they burgers were DE-lish! We love having such great friends.
April 28th-- Park time.
April 29th--
Isaac got is very own "hot steamer" cup from Auntie Jenny!
Isaac is at the nap transition phase where if he naps he doesn't fall asleep until really late, but if he doesn't nap, he either falls asleep or hits the wall at 6. I had taken Isabel upstairs to nurse her and put her down for a nap and found this little guy... You better believe I crawled in bed, snuggled up to him, and caught some shut eye too! He wear's me out, but I sure do love him and all his antics!
April 30th-- IKEA
A group of 3 moms and 7 kids! 5 of which went to the play place. Mine included!!! I was SHOCKED. Totally and completely SHOCKED. He had SO much fun and cried when he had to leave. The lady gave him a bazillion lady bug stickers so we made lady bug hands!
Once home from IKEA, the mischief began.... First item of business- get into moms craft stuff. Open up her Stampin' Up ink and put all over hands and legs to make "Shin Guards."
Second item of business.... drag step stool into laundry room. Climb on to washer. Open cupboard and get out the touch up paint, wood glue, electrical and packaging tape, screwdrivers. Then proceed to take off the alarm system box to, "Make the house bigger!" This boy can NOT be trusted. If there is silence, there is trouble.
May 1st-- Sibling love.
On April 19th this cutie-patootie turned 7 months old!!
Doing her crunches... she still does not like to sit or be on her back!
She LOVES being on her tummy and is getting ready to (screams) crawl!!
She rolls and rolls and rolls and rolls and rolls.....
And just like her big brothers, is very attached to her thumb, twisting her wrist back!
To save a bit of $$ ... I did my own little photo shoot...
Oh how I love her. She does not sit on her own but will between my legs without support for a bit!
I love her chubby cheeks and leg rolls.
I seriously kiss her ALL day long. ALL. DAY. LONG.
My blue eyed girl!
I cannot even tell you how much I love these two pictures. I love that they are starting to "play." Isaac is so proud of himself when he gets her to laugh and she kicks those chubby legs of hers in delight when she sees him (for the most part!).
Get 'em Isabel!!
These pictures make me think of these pictures....

May 2014
Dang shadows. I was so focussed on making sure Isaac didn't drop her that I didn't even notice.
Love this one too!
I SOOO badly wish there wasn't a glare. I tried to photoshop it but Im not that talented. Any Photoshop Expert takers...?!
We've entered a tough month. I just want it to get over with asap.
