May 2nd... Fun Day at the Park
Some cute girls in our ward were raising money for girls camp this summer and selling Popsicles. We went through 3!!

Check out this girls LEGS!!

She loves to munch on my fruit.

May 3rd... Swimming Pool fun!

Seriously....!

Pool side, munching on some popcorn... life is good!

Isabel has Daddy wrapped around her chubby little finger.

Colin and Isaac... two craaaazy boys!

"1-2-3-Goooo!"

May 5th
She's getting too big. Her baby babbling is awesome.

Buddies.

Get 'em Isabel!! I love both of their "I just woke up" rosy cheeks.

May 6th...
Always in to mischief.

She is a yoga plankin' fool. All. Day. Long.

And darn cute at that! She is getting soo close to crawling. She still hates to sit up and wiggles her way down till she can roll and roll and roll then "plank" a few times.

May 7th...
Morning hair. Isaac is OBSESSED with having spikes in his hair. OBSESSED! He wants me to reapply during the day. When he's tired, he sucks his thumb and feel his spikes. And Isabel gets some crazy natural styles on her own!

Groovy Cuts... Making himself comfy and right at home! Goof ball!

May 8th... Moms and Muffins at Preschool
Clearly I have been to his class many times, seeing as how I drop him off every Tuesday and Thursday... but this kids was SOOO excited to show me his classroom!

May 9th...
He's in the "no nap" transition. If he naps, he's not ready for bed until late, but if he doesn't nap, holy moly.... meltdown maniac.
So, he's been napping every other day, in my bed, and I looooove to snuggle next to him. Confession, sometimes when he's asleep I pretend it's Atticus for a tiny second. But then it makes me think of Atticus, gone, but not buried, then hurry and come back to reality and kiss my Isaacs chubby lips.

May 10th... Jocelyn's Baby Shower
I'm so glad Jocelyn let me do a baby shower for her. She is having her 3rd boy and is due June 14th! I had so much fun doing the decorations and was glad to keep busy.
"Welcome.. Good to SEA you- Come on in!"

Jene, Kaity, and Leslie made the yummy food!

Jocelyn and her cute momma.

Party bags filled with swedish fish--

I'm loving Photoshop Elements. I still have a lot to learn, but am definitely getting better!

Thank you Pinterest for the cute napkin/mint idea.

My two "food" contributions: Jell-o boats and "Fish 'n Chips!"

The shower was a huge success and we cannot wait to meet the little guy. (I really really want to compare Eliot's newborn feet with Isabel's-- I'm pretty sure they'll be the same size!).

later that night... Our first CRAB BOIL
During the baby shower, Eric and Isaac went golfing then "fish shopping." I'm pretty sure he came home with half the ocean. He had this excited smile on his face that makes me smile and laugh. He was soooo excited.
You have to keep crawfish alive until you cook them. It kinda freaked me out. Isaac was just like me, excited but a little nervous.
Sorry guys... circle of life. I did feel a little bad. It make me think of Sebastian and the Little Mermaid.
Eric educating us on how to eat a crawfish.

The G-R-U-B

15 lbs Crawfish.. 10 lbs Snow Crab.. 4 lbs King Crab.. 4 lbs Shrimp..

The adventurous crew.

Funny story... once every one was full to the brim of seafood, we sat around talking. There was quite a bit left so I decided that while we were talking, I would keep peeling  (or cracking) the crawfish, it's kind of addicting. Well, and hour later, I got a big 'ol pile of meat. The funny part is, Blaine, who was sitting at the other end of the table couldn't see the pile thought I was eating all the crawfish I was peeling. We had a good laugh!!

May 11th... Mothers Day
Last year I told Eric that I DID NOT want Mothers Day. This year I just didn't think about it. I am glad to report that it was actually a good day. I woke up and said to myself, "Okay, you have two choices, be sad, and sick to your stomach, and feel like you can't swallow or breath, OR, keep remembering that you are the mother to THREE beautiful children, and let your hubby and kids take care of you!

Church was tender and emotional. The Primary kids, 3-12yrs were walking to the front of the chapel to sing to the Mothers, my eyes already filling with water,  I got up to leave, when Isaac (who is in nursery, 18 months-3 yrs), tells me that he wants to sings with the kids. My heart skipped a beat, I held his hand and walked him half way up, then he took matters in to his own hands and walked right up there.

My heart was busting at the seams. Watching my 3 year old "singing" a Mother's Day Song, a song he didn't know, looking up at Charlie Zollinger beside him, smiling, trying to sing the words.. that moment stood still for me. I invisioned Isaac looking up at Atticus. My two boys singing together. It was such a tender moment. I held Isabel and cried.
Eric spoiled me. He did ALL the dishes from the Crab Boil and made me  a yummy dinner (meatballs: brisket and tenderloin, he ground himself). He even did bread and dessert! As nighttime approached, I could feel the emotions starting to come and I didn't want to deal with them. So I took a  Tylenol PM and conked out.

May 13th...
Visited the cemetery. With each visit, I kiss his picture touch his hand print, and tell him I love him. With every visit, I think to myself, "no way is this my life."

Sleeping babies (or big boys) are the sweetest things.

That afternoon we went to Bass Pro Shop to look at the fish.

Isabel is always happy to go along for the ride.

A little gun practice :)

May 14th...
I turn my back for TWO seconds, just to open the fridge to get the jam, turn around and Isaac has put his entire hand in the peanut butter... This kid. I tell ya...

After we cleaned up Mr. Peanut Butter, we went the the Galleria PlayPlace. Both kids had so much fun. We stayed 2.5 hours!

Isabel had a ball rolling around. I have definitely relaxed seeing as how I would NEVER let Atticus crawl on a germ infested floor like this. I was slightly narcotic!

Isaac was playing 'Frozen' and was climbing the 'North Mountain.'

Love this sweet face

"I love you soooooo much baby!"

May 15th
Isaac cracks me up. He tries to carry as many things as possible and is so proud of himself when he does!

May 16th
Clearly she loves to sit up.

"Hot Vanilla Steamers."

Isaac was so so cute. They was an older gentlemen sitting at the table next to us and Isaac started a conversations with him...

Isaac: Do you have one of these (his drink) like me?
Man: I do!
Isaac: What happened to your finger (he had a band aid)?
Man: I cut it.. It really hurt.
Isaac: That DOES really hurt.
Isaac: Im three.
Man: What's your name? (No he wasn't creepy. Just a nice grandpa)
Isaac: Isaac. Want to sit at that table with me?

...So we all, man included moved to another table and carried on the conversation. The man told me he had never met a little guy like that before. I started laughing and replied, "Yah... he keeps me on my toes! It was the cutest thing to watch him.

May 17th
End of year school program. Disney themed and SUPER cute.
These two pictures were during "rehearsal"

I love his "chill" pose!

He cute classmates!

I sure love this boy.

He did SUCH A GOOD JOB. Eric and I were so proud of him and so so shocked. He cried the entire Christmas program and ended up escorting himself off the stage and on to my lap, so I wasn't sure what to expect. He totally surprised us. It was seriously the cutest thing I have ever seen. He was the first to walk out and I could hear Mrs. Julie reminding the kids to stay on their spots marked on the floor and he was very focused on doing just that. When they turned during their song or moved or wiggled even the tiniest bit, he would look down to make sure he was on his spot! I was seriously the obnoxious beaming with pride mother.

Walking off the stage...

They came back in for the finale.. He was so excited to have us there!!

Waving to us!

"Yawn. Being a dwarf is exhausting!"

As we went to get Isaac we overheard friends telling him what a great job he did to which he replied, "I did do a good job!" Little stink. When I told him what a great job he did, he said, "Yes I did!!". We may need to work on humility with this one :). He was so proud of himself and so were we.

After the program we went to his classroom to look at his art portfolio. He was so excited to show us each and every art project!

I love his expressions.

He was reading me the Brown Bear Book.

It's hard to see in this picture, but the picture on his folder was from the first of the school year. He has grown SO much. We took him for ice cream to celebrate then went home to eat some yummy ribs daddy made...

"Daddy? Can I have some meat with a cross bone?"

According to Isaac:
- "Hey mom! I have a baby. Wanna know what his name is.... President Monson!
- "Mom. Guess what bite I ate? A big 'ol bite!"
- (After his program we gave him the choice of getting ice cream or stopping at Target to get a treat. He chose ice cream. After ice cream and driving home he asked me if we could get a treat. I told him no way jose, we just had ice cream)... "But that's not a treat. It's just ice cream!"
- "Mom... I need my shoes on because my socks are cold!"
- "Mom. That's my house. But you and daddy can stay there!" (how kind of him!)

May 18th
After church nap time...
