Visitors...

A family that prayers together, stays together. And that is exactly what we have. A family that stays together. Both families have been by our sides the entire time from day one till current. SUCH a huge blessing and we are so grateful. As mentioned in an earlier post, the closer it got to May the worse I was getting. So what does our incredible family do...? Fly to Texas!! Starting with my brother Spencer!

SPENCER

He came just two days after we got home from Mexico and I was really glad. It was nice to have someone to talk to during the day. Chunk was a big fan too!

"Tub-Time"
Why not? Why not have chips and salsa while in the kitchen sink?
Eric and Spencer watching hockey.

Spencer is younger than me by 6.5 years and he will forever be little to me. We have some great memories together and his visited only added more! Love you Spenc.

STACIE
She treated me to a mani/pedi! Great way to start our visit!

Chunk looking especially handsome in the morning!

Isaac's first time swimming for the summer...
He LOVED it!

Trader Joes
He LOOOOVED having his own shopping cart.

He put SO much stuff in his little cart, Stacie and I kept having to secretly put stuff back. His daddy was super proud, Isaac put in: Lamb chops, a full chicken, tenderloin, and some other weird meat! Oh, and some dark chocolate sea salt brownies! And yes we put almost all back!! Not the brownies of course.

Kohls....

Playing peek-a-boo!

We do not drink coffee but my sisters do, so when they come to visit,  Isaac is always very curious about their morning beverage. So... while at Target, (there's a Starbucks inside) Stacie got a coffee and Isaac and I got an apple cider to share. We had the lady put Isaac in is own cup. He was beyond excited and kept saying, "My very own special coffee!" He was cracking us up.

Whose ready to take a dip?!?!

Lovin' on his gal at Old Navy!!

He pointed out each of her features: eyes, nose, ears...

Playing in the Tire Toy bin box...

As always we laughed, cried, ate, and played. She always keeps us entertained. Stacie left May 23rd then Lance and Becky flew in Saturday the 26th...

We love you family! Thank you for sharing in our burden, tears, and heartache. Thank you for lifting us up and reminding us about the good times we had and the good times to come!

Wow! What an amazing extended family you have! They sure know how to show up just when you need them, lift your spirits, and make sure you are having some fun in your life, in the midst of everything else you are going through. I might need to borrow them sometime, since they all seem to be such great family people! :)

Hi Cindy,

I was just checking in and I hope that you are feeling okay with your pregnancy. My husband has been out of town and I just had one of those days- nothing too big and bad, just little things that add up. I was not feeling well and my boys were misbehaving and fighting, etc. Anyway, whenever I read your blog, it just reminds me to put my life in perspective. I just see how much you obviously love your boys and how you love being a mom so much. You are such a good mom, and I love that you take so many pictures, especially of the little things that happen. I still think about Atticus and will never forget him. Isaac is such a cute, sweet boy.
Something that is a little random, I had some See's chocolates today and it reminded me of a post a while back where you mentioned that your husband and his sister had a disagreement about See's Chocolates - whether or not they were better or just like any other chocolates. Well, whoever says See's are better I totally agree with. There is a HUGE difference and See's is so much better than any other chocolates - and believe me, I've tried a lot :). See's is the best. Okay, now that I've gotten that off my chest I'm good. :)
Well, I hope that you and your cute little family are doing okay and I look forward to your next post.

Just getting ready for bed and preparing sharing time for tomorrow. I think about your little Atticus and you so much. I love learning about sweet Issac, he reminds me of my little guy so much. Hope you are hanging in there. Many prayers are said for you still and I put you and Erics name in the Temple last time I went.
Love,
Kim- a stranger that had become a friend

I found your blog through another blog and I have completely fallen in love with your sweet family. I live in Utah and so while I will most likely never meet you I have sat here and cried "with" you and my prayers are definitely with you. Your Atticus is most definitely an angel and is with you more than you know. Just wanted to send my love and prayers!

Cindy- Sometimes when you are quiet, it leaves those of us who read your blog concerned about you and wondering whether we should be elated that you are enjoying travels and family time, or concerned that you are not feeling well and need to be lifted up in prayer. Your posts don't have to be perfect - let all your friends (so many of whom you haven't met) carry you if this is a hard time. Love you and your family.

Cindy,
I don't know you but have followed your blog for some time now. You (and your stories of Atticus) have taught me so much about life and love and strength and faith -especially finding the joy in little moments. Thank you for that. I hope you'll always remember that you are stronger than you'll ever know. Really. I'm unfortunately not particularly religious, but I truly envy the wonderful faith you clearly have and the supportive community that goes with that. Thank you for your raw honesty in sharing your story.
