Last Weeks Activities

Arboretum... every Tuesday is Petting Zoo Day. Atticus and Laney were in heaven. The animals were so tame. Atticus' favorite was the horse. They have crafts for the kids and face painting. Atticus didn't want his face painted but a spider on his hand!

St. Patricks Day... Atticus and I make treats in the morning had cupcakes for breakfast then played in his new tepee. He was such a little stinker... We made plates of goodies for a few friends and he kept sneeking a taste. I found him pulling the chair over three times picking off the sprinkles or grabbing the chocolates!

English Bull Dog... There is a pet store pretty close that lets you play with the animals. NEVER in my life have I been an animal person, and NEVER in my life have I been so close to purchasing a dog. Good thing this cute little dogs price tag was 2,600. That got me thinking straight again!!

Gymboree Play Center... I absolutely LOVE Dallas and only have two complaints, well three (no family, traffic, & it's so dang expensive). Because of Dallas' price tag on their kids events, Atticus and I have hit up about every play gym for their free trial class! Now Im on the hunt for swimming lesson's under $300 (Im not kidding).

Future missionary... "going to church" with his cute friend Isabelle Helping mom and dad cook Sunday dinner...

A few video's for the families...

His new bedtime ritual... he gets a burst of energy right before family prayer and does his "exercises" and "flip backs" (I know it's long but the end is pretty funny) Just a clip to show his personality... yes I let him play in a sink full of water while I do dishes. Ya do what ya got to do.

A clip to show his personality. Yes I let him play in a sink full of water while I do dishes. He loves it... I limit the amount of TV Atticus watches so he tries to ask as sweetly as he can to (head tilted to the side) "watch a show please!"

Have you checked swimming at the YMCA? When we were living in Dallas I had both Sweetie and Popcorn in lessons and it wasn't very much $. Although, it may get cheaper as they get older because they follow directions so much better. Good luck!
