HaLlOwEeN

Cute costume. Cute pumpkins. Homemade chili and breaksticks. Must be HaLlOwEeN! Carving Pumpkins The original plan was to have Atticus be Captain Hook (bought the pattern and had it cut out). Then Texas through us a curve ball. Thanks to Children's Place and their super clearance $4.99 costumes, Atticus was the cutest MoNsTeR we have ever seen. He looked so stinkin' cute. Trick-or-treating was so much fun. I seriously love Eagle Nest Drive! Neighbors had fire-pits and chairs set up in their driveways with spooky music playing-- We loved it. Atticus loved it. Especially all the kids- Even more than the candy!! It was such a fun night. He kept his monster hat on the entire time, said "trick-or-treat," "thank you," and "happy halloween," to almost everyone! And pointed out that the pumpkins have "fire!" **Lesson's we learned this Halloween** 1. Buy your pumpkins at least one day before Halloween or you'll end up carving "pumpkin pie" pumpkins. Cute, but little. 2. When you make Texas Chili... 1/4 the amount of Chili powder they ask for. Holy Cow!!! I love this picture. We did a "trial" run the day before!
