April 30th
Eric is the vacation guru. He has a knack for awesome deals and it serves our family well. He found $86.00 roundtrip tickets from Dallas to Tampa Florida so we booked them in a heartbeat and got ready for the trip of a life time... Three days at the beach. Four days at Disney.
Three large suitcases. Four backpacks. One double strollers. One single stroller. One pack 'n play. Three excited kids and two exhausted parents... Surely we are prepared to take on Disney World.
These two kiddos were so good and so excited. Those of you who know Eric and I well know that we are quote opposite in our expression of emotions (hehe). Eric stays very calm-- like the above picture, to the stranger would mean nothing but to me, I know better, I know that, that smile says, "I am so excited and having fun!" You'll have to trust me on this. Anyway... Isaac said to me, "Mom? Is dad excited? I laughed so hard!"
And this little one was an absolute angel.
Happy as a little clam.
Isabel was BEYOND excited to have her very own Frozen backpack. Even if it was bigger than her!
We were seriously a three ring circus!
We checked in to our hotel and Isaac found it very important to do some drawing!
May 1st
The BEACH!!!!
We love the beach- its a lot of work, but its so fun.
Isaac and daddy loved jumping the waves.
And so did little Miss Sass-a-Frass.
Sand Castle time.
Tiny little thighs with tiny little rolls!
Not too bad a view eh?!
Expressive. A word that appropriately describes all of my children. For better or for worse. Watching this little girl as she plays with her daddy provided some very good entertainment.
My kids are pretty lucky to have such a good daddy.
Isaac was running all over the place and having the time of his life.
Little sis tried to keep up as best as she could.
She was exercising like the stranger behind her.
Lily did surprisingly well. She napped in my arms and was for the most part in good spirit.
Snuggle-bug!
One happy girl!!
Isaac, although he had fun on the beach, was the happiest at the hotel pool. He was an absolute FISH. He made friends with whatever kids were playing at the pool... "Hi!! I'm Isaac! Want to swim together?!"
Grandma Becky and Lily-loo-hoo.
Buds.
May 2nd
Morning tea party/breakfast.
Ready for beach day 2
Another day full of fun giggles and swimming.
Flamingo suits for the girlies!
Chasing the birds.
Isabel was so exhausted and had a total meltdown when I took her in for a nap- two minutes later she was sawing logs!
Isaac, after quenching his thirst with a strawberry smoothie, continued to utilize his fins and swam his heart out.
He swam SIX straight hours and made some really fun friends.
Isabel made a friend too!
And mommy found a portable pack 'n play for Lily!!
May 3rd
Animal Kingdom
We got checked then got straight to playing!!
Isaac loved being on the bus!
First Stop-- lunch.
Then it was on to the rides.
Expedition Everest. I was SHOCKED that Isaac went on it and although he said, he liked it, he was very very firm in his decision of not wanting to go on it again!!
Jungle Cruise
Hippos!
Elephants!
Dancing to the beat of their own drum!
Lion King- One of our favorite shows.
Fun is tiring!
Pre bedtime shenanigans.
"How is this smile mom?"
May 4th
Rocking their shirts from Auntie Leah!! You're the BEST!
Cheese!
We totally lucked out. Right after we walked through the entrance, Minnie Mouse was out for visiting!! Isabel was SO excited!
Lily was too ;)
THEN... the crew went to go on some rides while I nursed Lily and got her to sleep and TOTALLY lucked out again, because right across from where I was standing, a line started to meet Elsa.. Anna.. Cinderella.. and Rapunzel..
So as soon as the others were done with the rides we had all of ten minutes of wait time. The rest of the day, it was a 1.5-2 hours wait... Isabel FLIPPED OUT. I will post the video on FB and IG. She was literally screaming with excitement while waiting. IT was the cutest thing.
She was in HEAVEN.
Things that were heard coming from my daughter mouth (aside from the squeals of joy).
"I see her. She's my favorite!!!!"
"I SO EXCITED!"
I love that she her princess pose on :) She really wanted to be wearing a dress and kept trying to crusty it out!!
Anna was absolutely adorable.
Is there anything Disney does that isn't magical? No. No there isn't.
Isabel kept touching her hair.
Cinderella-- another one of Isabels favorites.
She didn't want to leave.
"I want to marry Cinderella!"
I thought maybe Isabel would be done with seeing characters but when she got the tiniest glimpse of the Fairy Godmother- she squealed with excitement and HAD to see her too!
Isaac rode the carousel while we girl met the princesses.
And we of course had to try our luck at the sword in the stone.
Grandma Becky and I doing a selfie on "It's a small world!"
This pic is for you Grandmda Lori.
Unfortunately, the kids were not impressed with the ride :(
Daddy and Isaac trying out the new Snow White/Dwarfs ride.
Isaac was cracking us up. It's like he had a mental checklist of all the things he wanted/needed to do. After the rides, he would say that he had fun, but for the most part didn't want to ride them again.
Me and Grandma Becky's turn- It was SUCH a fun ride.
Lunch with the Hundred Acre Wood characters.
Isaac, the funny, boy, couldn't care less about any other characters but when these friends came out- he was grinning ear to ear and was so worried they wouldn't come to our table to say hello!
That was one happy boy!
Oh Loo-loo. We just love you.
We got dumped on this day- thankfully I brought ponchos from home.
Isabel took a cat nap in Grandma's arms...
...then in the stroller
Lily took a little cat nap (two hours) in my front carrier! I love the Gemini.
I loved seeing this cute little face when she woke up!
Isaac and his too cool for school smile.
Eric took one for the team-- a sure ticket to nausea!
Dumbo!!
This baby girl was a champ!!!~
This one did pretty well.. She was on a big Daddy.
The Jungle Cruise never ceases to amaze us!
Aladdin with my girl!
Pirates of the Caribbean. A family favorite (especially Isaac) we went on it 5 times in a row (thank you rain for making everyone leave).
Splash Mountain- Another family favorite. Isaac went on this one a bunch of times too!
May 5th
Hollywood Studios
Happy brother... fussy sister..
Happy baby..
"Tickle Tickle!"
Breakfast makes everything better!
Stunt Spectacular show. After the show Isaac said "That was aaaawwwwwwesome!"
Buzzlightyear ride!
Meeting Olaf!!
She was hesitant for some reason- silly girl.
What's up Sully?!
We sure loved having Grandma Becky with us.
Disney's exhausting.
Isaac followed the storm troopers all over! Isabel said, "Where da storm twooperh? Where da bad guy? He SO strong!"
We came home a tad early from Hollywood Studios and hit the splash pad and pool.
Lots and lots of fun!
I spy three very tired little ones!
March 6th
Man I love this kids.
Both feeling like pretty big stuff on the bus!
Especially this one.
Another great day at Magic Kingdom.
Let the Zurg blasting begin.
"Sugar Sticks" for Atticus- Kisses to heaven sweet boy. We love you.
One of the trips highlights for me-- I LOVE this parade.
And the kids loved it too!
Not a great picture but it was so sweet to see these two snuggle!
I took the girls home but Daddy Isaac and Grandma stayed for the fireworks. Isaac loved having his special late night with them!!
May 7th
Epcot Center
We had time for a ride or two, lunch, souvenir shopping, then off to the airport we went.
One hat fits most:)
This little gem came home with us!!
It was such a fun trip. Busy. Exhausting. Fun. With lots of memories made. Thank you for coming Grandma Becky, we couldn't have done it without you!
Thanks for another great trip Disney World. We love you!
