Handsome Uncle Brett

We love you Atticus. You are ALWAYS in our hearts. Always.
December 2011

I seriously think this man is gooood lookin'

Such a happy girl!

Grandma Becky had prepared the cutest costumes for our nativity. Leave it to my son to bring weapons in to an otherwise peaceful activity. I kept telling him that he was a good "Wise Man." He clearly did not agree.

The sweetest little angel we have ever seen!

And the cutest little lamb!

It's pretty amazing how these little ones 'get it.' It's roudy, wild, loud, and crazy while preparing, but when it's show time, the sweetest most peaceful spirit was felt and each one of these kids showed it. Pretty incredible.

Isaac had a surprise for everyone... he transformed into the Grinch and preformed, "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch." Best thing ever! Thank you Grandma Becky for making this AWESOME costume. Isaac was soooo excited.
Lol. This kid. I love his little snicker.

Although he whispered, he sang every word!

Grandpa Lance's family tradition! Our very talented band.

And finally... The always anticipated CANDY BAR GAME. Each year brings a new surprise: yelling, laughter, tears, tug-a-war, and FUN.

Merry Christmas!

Picture on the stairs. A Christmas tradition for years and years and years!

Isaac loves his cousins.

When you have 12 adults and 4 kids, the tree gets kinda lost in the presents!

Santa came!

Isaac was beyond excited about his apple juice soda (soda because it's in a soda can!) The kids never been happier.

Our sweet Atticus. We love you sweet heart your absence is always felt. Not a minute goes by when your not on our minds and in our hearts. Merry Christmas sweet boy. Anxiously waiting for us to celebrate together again. xoxoxo

Let the present opening begin!!!
Ninja Turtle gear (he's never seen the show, but is all about their weapons)

Magformers

Isaac loves to do "work" like daddy. Grandpa and Grandma got him his very own briefcase, computer, notepads and pens!

After a yummy christmas breakfast and some play time, we got dressed and headed to Stacie's house to celebrate Christmas with them and Grandpa and Grandma Romera.
 But first... Snow Angles.

Isaac and Charlie wasted no time and got into their costumes right away.

Strongest men alive!!

The boys got Discovery Camera's and Lego's from Grandpa and Grandma Romera.

Some down time watching a movie. Isaac rubbed Jason's head the entire time! He's so funny about hair.

It was a great Christmas. That fact that is SNOWED, made it a magical Christmas.

December 26th--
Great Grandma Leona and Isabel catching up on current affairs and crossword puzzles.

SNOW!!!! It's kinda a big deal!

We had "Christmas" with my siblings and Grandma Lori later that day. Another VERY fun day.

Jay absolutely adores Isabel. It's the cutest thing.

Great Grandma Donna, My pretty mom, and darn cute baby girl.

December 27th-- Airborn
Zachy-boy showing off his mad skillz

Get him Isaac!

Gooo Isabel!!

Some of the best ladies/friends/sisters a girl could hope for. I'd be lost without these two.

Charlie! This boy has this sneaky little way of melting you heart when you least expect it.

Isaac..

Jay..

Charlie..

Zach decided that the adults needed to do the Gladiator obstacle course thingy.. And these cute faces were our cheerleaders.

***CAUTION***
The pictures you are about to see are incredibly unflattering. You are adviced to look past the figure and focus on the activity!!
I was seriously so proud of myself... granted I only made it across the monkey bars and rock wall, but I did it. Two times in fact!!

Zachy rocked it!

I climbed and climbed and made it across...

Until I came to the tight rope. Two steps and I came crashing down.

Zach however conquered it!

Lunch-- nothin' refuels the body like good 'ol McyD's

Love love LOVE that these boys love eachother so much.

December 28th--

Playing at the Trevino's, and looking darn cute!

Stacie has the perfect little nook area that Isabel just loves and spent a good amount of time trying to sit on the ledge!

These blue eyes are going to get us in trouble, I just know it!!

Isaac and Charlie were drawing maps. They are such good buddies and love being around one another.

My very talented daughter.

Movie time with Grandpa Jim. The boys were SOOOO excited.

December 30th--
Girl time with Grandma Lori. There are 3 stores that must be visited when I come to Utah. 1- The Quilted Bear 2- Rod Works 3- DownEast Outfitters. I got lucky enough to run into a "Stranger now Friend" Andrea. Such a fun surprise!

Movie time with Lexi, Parker, Grandpa and Grandma Hansen

December 31st
Ice Skating! South Jordan, where Eric's family lives, has a cute little center and provides a teeny tiny ice skating rink! For a grand total of $6 our family had a great time.

Sissy girl skated in her own way!

Love this family of mine. Both here and beyond.

Some serious manly talk!

New Years Eve dinner with my siblings and their spouses. It was SO much fun. After dinner we karioke'd at Jenny's then headed to the Hansen house for more food and games!

At midnight we sent lanterns to our sweet Atticus to bring in the new year!

Hello 2015!
Dustin and Sarai hosted a sledding soup and cocoa party! Here's the problem with snow and my children- we have nothin' to equip them with. Thankfully, Will had a 9 month old snowsuit sister-sue could squeeze into!

She too, was happy about the fit!

SNOW much fun!

Love his lashes!

And his smile!

Sledding for Isabel..

She wasn't impressed.

Clearly.

Sledding with mommy-

I have enough excitement for the both of us!

January 2nd--
We promised Isaac we would take him snowboarding this year and we kept our word! I wish I would have recorded him when he first got his snowboarding boots on. He was struttin' his stuff. BIG TIME.

GO ISAAC!!

My dad is great with the kids and they all adore him.

Nephew Auntie sandwich

It was a successful day on Grandpa's mountains.

A little post-sledding cocoa. Grandma Shawna was nice enough to stay inside while Isabel napped.

That night and Eric and I went out with his high school buddies and their wives whom I just love, and while we were waiting for them to get to the restaraunt, I ran in to this CUTE face. Heather, is my sweet Tiff Huishs' sister which of course makes us sisters too. We chatted it up till it was time to part ways. Very fun surprise!

January 3rd--
Headed back to Texas... Sick baby in tote :(

We alway have such a great time in Utah. Yes it's busy. Yes it's exhausting at times- going place to place to place, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I am so grateful for the close nit family we have.
We love you guys! Thanks for all you do.
