I LOVE having a girl!
Isabel is a little ray of sunshine ALL the time. She is such a happy baby and has brought so much happiness into our family. We are so in love with this little girl.
According to Isabel....
- June 29th she started saying "mamma." She also says, "dada" and "gaga" and all those other super cute baby sounds.
- On her exact 9 mo. mark, she officially starting crawling. Like for real crawling (let the bumps and bruises begin...)
- She sits up on her own (let the bumps and bruises begin...)
- She is trying oh-so-hard to pull herself up on things (again, let the bumps and bruises begin...)
- She LOVES to drink water from a big girl cup but is still a spaz-attack while doing it!
- When she's excited and sitting on her bum, she does this super cute bounce hop thing.
- She is loving big girl food and loves tomatoes, raisin toast, yogurt, meat, pizza, and almost everything else. The only things she does not like (so far) are eggs and tuna fish.
- She is an AWESOME sleeper and wakes up happy, baby babbling and ready to play.
- She LOVES her momma and is happy as a clam playing until she hears mommy's voice then will crawl her little chubby self over to find me.
- She loves playing "ball" with daddy. He holds her by the stairs, throws a ball up the stairs so it comes bouncing down and catches it with her. She LOVES it and kicks her little legs like crazy and laughs and laughs. (She TOTALLY has her daddy wrapped around her finger).
- She loves Isaac and follows him with her eyes or crawling wherever he goes.
- She's still pretty friendly and still goes to other people.
- She claps her hands and does "Sooo big"
- She has her two bottom front teeth and her top right "fang" just cut through with the left on it's way, she is by far my saddest teether :(.
- She get's compliments on her eyes and hair all the time and we are asked about a gazillion times, "What happened to her arm?!" Her hemangioma is still there... it has gotten a bit lighter and is not as tall, but I think it's going to stick around for awhile. It doesn't bother her one bit. In fact, she's really just started to notice and kinda pulls on it.
- She is exactly what our family needed. Thank you Atticus, for not letting mommy ignore the feeling and helping her come to peace with another child!! You're the BEST!!

Cindy, she is beautiful!
I am so happy for all of you!
Oh my heck...gorgeous, absolutely beautiful pictures!!!! Love them!
She is so precious Cindy! I so wish we lived closer so our girls could be best friends!
On another note, I am so glad you are so good and keep up with your blog. It is so fun to see how your sweet family is doing! Think about you guys often and hope you are doing well.

She's darling. My granddaughter had a hemangioma about that size on the side of her head. It completely disappeared by age 3 and hair grows where it was. Another granddaughter (cousin) had a slightly smaller one on her lower back. Her's was mostly gone by 3 - but it was on her back, so not visible. We call them Angel Kisses and told them it was a sign of a big loving heart.
Have you seen Heaven is for Real?!?? The little boy, his real name is, Connor Corum reminds me of sweet Atticus! Pretty sure they could be brothers. Gorgeous boys.
