This boy keeps me busy busy....
I was getting dinner ready and got a cucumber out to slice; turned to around and found the cucumber missing...
... and this little guy was the culprit!!
Who doesn't like a little pre dinner cucumber?
Breakfast with the animals.
Art time. He was all about making handprints.
Every good artists needs a good bath in the sink!
We picked up Eric from CrossFit and Isaac got a quick work out in
Lawn mower love at the Home Depot!
Eric's birthday was July 24th. Pretty low key. He had to work and was going out of town that day. But we did hang up his bday banner and met him for lunch.
Stampin' Up time.
Two new additions to our family. We hatched a dinosaur and giant grasshopper. Very exciting.
I had a moment of sheer genious (according to me!). It drove Atticus bonkers and drives Isaac bonkers when their sandwiches slide all over the place. SOLUTION: chip clip!! Worked like a charm!
BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!!
"To infinity. And Beyond!"
He loves the knee pads in the costume.
Atticus was Buzz Lightyear for Halloween in 2010. Buzz Lightyear with a light saber of course!!
Every good hero sucks their thumb!
Just relaxing!
WATER FUN!!
Sure love this cutie patootie.
We found this nest in our tree. Eggs were gone of course but we were still excited.
Some "light"reading in daddy's chair!
Sneaking a snack or two.
Isaac and his buddy Collin "roasting marshmallow" in the tent.
Baseball time. He doesn't quite have the same love as Atticus did, but still had a fun!
- "You did so good Daddy. You ate it all gone."
- "Everything is, "The dark dark night" or the "dark dark water"
- "In SO brave!"
- "You okay mom?" ME: Yah, Im ok buddy. Are you ok? I: "Yah! Im good!"
- "Pancakes are delicious."
- "Do you understand mom?"
- "Does Gussy bear (Stacie's dog) roar like a dinosaur?"
- "Gussy bear, you gotta be nice to me."
- "That sounds FUN!!"
- "Where is her mom?"
- He's big into the "Dark dark forest." Then he will tell me what he will pack in his backpack for the forest: water bottle, wobble goggles (thank you Imaginations Movers), snacks...
- His conversation with Pop-Pop
Lance: Do you love Zach?
I: No. I love mommy.
L: Do you love grandma?
I: No. I love mommy.
L: Do you love Pop Pop?
I: No. I love mommy!!
Notice a pattern here? For whatever reason, I raise mamma's boys. And for the most part, I don't mind one bit
- "Big HUGE humungo-bungo!"
- "Can I get all done?"
- "Good counting dad."
- Isaac, do you want a drink? "Yes sir ree!"
- "Is it a baby carrot mom? Ahhh, what a sweet heart!" And then he ate it!
- Ohhhhhh! Greaaaaaaaat!"(said with A LOT of excitement)
- My alligator is going to gobble up my meatball!"
- "Im playing a game mom! A Mickey Mouse game!" (He was "playing" the calculator!!)
- "Good sharing mom!"
-He is all about telling stories and they always being with, "Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Isaac. And he was a good little boy...." For awhile the next part was always, and he had a squishy ball. The end.
- "And I ate it and it was pretty not yucky. But it was pretty yummy!!
-"Don't take it from me. It's my berry special one!"
-"I like your new fingernails mom!" ... I had painted my nails a new color!
-"It's okay mom, I can be gentle."
-"And we will go on an adventure!!"
My sweet friend showed me her "Atticus flowers." They are so pretty.
