Keep on keepin' on

17 wks (last wk). She's not wasting any time being seen!

Story Time

Down. Set. Hike- Hike- Hike!!

 Sure love this little cheeser.

..Texas Bluebonnets..
I didn't notice a single one last year so they were extra pretty this year!

Isaacs reward for being such a good boy... donuts! And just like his big brother he went for the strawberry frosted one! And a hotdog!

Sunday "motorcycle" ride!
He finally goes to nursery without crying!! Thank you nursery miracle workers.

He LOVES to draw "cool designs."
Not with crayons with pens!

He was pointing to the "basketball" he drew!

According to Isaac...
1. He say's "because" all the time...
"I eat hamburgers because, I ate it all gond."
"The baseball went up in the air because, because, it went up in the air."
2. He will shut himself in a room and close the door saying, "Goodbye mom. Be riigghhht back." or "Goodbye mom, love you so much."
3. I can't remember what toy he was holding, but he said, "Hey buddy, listen, it's Lightning McQueen song!"
4. Lately he asks me, "Where's Atticus mom?" (breaks my heart. I tell him he's in Heaven then we blow a kiss)
5. If he is doing something or about to do something he knows he's not supposed to, he say's, "Go play momma. Go play."
6. He calls his flip-flops, "flippey-de-flops"
7. When I tell him it's naptime or bedtime he says, "I not sleepy head."

Misc. Isaac...
1. He loves the book Babar and pronounces it "Bar-Bar"
2. Loves to play soccer, golf, and football
3. Likes to listen to music "SO" loud in the car
4. He loves babies and loves to give them kisses
5. He is finally sleeping through the night again. In a twin bed on the floor! He wanted nothing to do with the toddler bed, which is funny to me because Atticus loved the toddler bed.

Heres the break down...
April 3rd he climbed out of the crib. We spent 5 nights battling. For instance... In a matter of 18 minutes I went in 22 times to put him back in his crib. It was awesome. He would yell from his bed amazing things like this:

-Moooomy, I need a bar (nutrigrain or kid cliff bar)
-I need dinner. I neeeeed sausage
-Momma pahleeeeaaaase
-I need vitamins for Isaac
-Oh my goodness, momma. Im sad. What's the matter Isaac?
-I wanna snuggle with mom and dad
-I need a hamburger in my mouth please

Anywho... the transitions has been made and he's doing great and loves his big boy bed. Bedtime is back to normal and happy again. Wahoo!!

I think it looks like your budding artist prefers his left hand? He is a master negotiator - love it! Thanks for all the cute pics - he makes us smile! Cindy, hope you are feeling well and taking good care of yourself!

I CANNOT believe how big Isaac is getting! He is such a little stud muffin! I just want to squeeze him. Your cute little baby bump is obviously adorable! Aaron will be out of town for the next 2 weekends but I want to get together soon for shaved ice or something!! Anything that sounds good to your cute growing baby would be good though!! xoxoxoxo

Isaac is the cutest thing on the block. He is a smart little guy, he was cracking me up with his excuses to get out of his crib!

I love that when he was yelling to you he answered as well! And I love that he needed a hamburger in the middle of the night! Can't wait to see his chubby face!!! And yours too!
