Longhorns game 2

THIS is what chunker this is really fun to do...
He takes everything off the shelves! Whatever buys me time to make dinner.

..Go Longhorns..
Atticus didn't want to play in tonights game at first, he know's his body has made some changes. But after his nap, he was raring to go and anxious to get his uniform on!

Batter up....

He made it to first!!!

And shot off like a cannon ball headed for 2nd...

Keep running buddy!!

He made it to 3rd!!!! I was so grateful we played a "not so good" team so that Atticus could make it on not one base but 3!! We were so proud of him.

He has such a sweet smile. Paralysis and all. I love him so much.

Goooooo Longhorns!!!

He got the game ball! He was beyond excited. I was beyond grateful.

His good buddy Emery! This their 2nd season playing ball together.

My boys. Oh how I love my boys!
Do you love that Atticus is holding is "game ball" far far away from Isaac?!

So Atticus had his first day of IV Temodar (chemo) and it went really really well! Prayers are heard. We are so incredibly grateful. Yesterday we fasted and prayed for peace. For comfort and guidance in finding the right medical path for Atticus. Yes we got some not so great news today BUT... Atticus tolerated chemotherapy! It didn't even phase him. HUGE blessing. HUGE. Thank you for keeping our family in your prayers. I am certain that there is strength in numbers!

The boy is amazing! A long day at the hospital, including getting chemo, then he still suits up for his game. A true champ right there! Love the pictures. So grateful that he tolerated it better and that you have felt peace in your decisions. Always in our prayers.

Love seeing that boy in his baseball uniform! COULDN'T BE CUTER! I teared up seeing him on base. What a miracle!! Atticus is teaching me lesson after lesson. Today's lesson: Even when I don't feel my best, even when I feel different from others for one reason or another... I need to show up and give it my all. Amazing what I learn from your four year old warrior. I love that boy. Thanks for sharing him with all of us.

Yay for Chemo. Yay! Yay! What a blessing.

Love and multiple prayers everyday!

Love how he is holding his game ball so far away from his little brother. :) Hilarious. How great that he got to third base. Yeah! That's awesome! I'm amazed at his strength and determination. Playing ball after such a long hard day. You all are continuously in our prayers. We love your family!

You don't know me, but I've been following your blog since right after Atti's diagnosis, when I came across a post about it on babycenter. I've always wanted to comment, but I always feared that I didn't have the right words to express how much you all mean to me. I look for your posts daily and think about your family all the time. You are an amazing and inspiration woman! You have made me a better mom and a better person and I can't thank you enough for that. I feel so touched that you have come into my life in some small way. I pray for your family and your darling little boy. I pray that you have peace and strength and love. I'll never forget you all. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us all.

I have been following you from the beginning after having found your amazing family through a family member. I have fallen in love with Atticus and your family. Our prayers are with you.

I know this is a super hard time and there are so many things in front of you right now. I read the comments a while ago and someone had mentioned the documentary called Burzynsky that can be found online and on Netflix. I watched it and I just really wanted to share again that maybe it is something you want to see. Dr. Burzynsky is right in Huston Texas. Where the traditional medical field with their toxic radiation and chemos that have been used since the 70s has a 0% rate with childhood brainstem cancer he has a 27.5%. Eleven out of 40. I hope this is taken as it is intended and not hurtful in anyway. As a mother I would want to know this and I can't stop thinking about it. The research is well documented all through the show and online. Eleven out of 40.

I am Dylan Shaw's aunt.(Ryan's sister) When I see these beautiful children with this awful disease it makes me so sad. But then I see these pictures of him playing baseball and the excitement in his face and I can't help but smile! Such a wonderful experience!!! We will be praying for you and your family.
