Monday: Snowflake Ornament Painting

Tuesday: The Arboretum and our attempt to get pictures for our Christmas cards! I think we got a couple cute ones. He was SUCH a good and patient boy.

Wednesday: Galleria Mall play place and Christmas Tree with Noah.

No Galleria Mall experience is complete without a visit with old friends. Truly, I have no idea why he is so obsessed with the Old Navy manikins. He loves them and provides great entertainment for the shoppers! *The awesome bonk on his head was from tripping at the Arboretum! He tripped twice while there- I felt so bad. I don't think I'll get him to wear his church shoes ever again. Friday: PreSchool field trip to the "Christmas Village." It was so cute to see the kids in their matching bandana's holding hands! It was a little to busy, but for the most part they had fun.

Saturday: His BRITHDAY PARTY

His party was at 10am so I had everything set up bright and early! He came down the stairs, gasped and said, "Mom thank you for my birthday party!" He took each drink down and told me which car was which and thanked me over and over again saying, "these are my special birthday drinks." I made a few varieties of muffins and a fruit salad and kept finding a little man taste testing! He was VERY anxious for the party to start.

Opening presents... He has such great friends. They were so thoughtful and brought fun new toys! I pulled Atticus aside to remind him to thank everyone after each gift... once He walked in the room he yelled, "THANK YOU EVERYONE" It was pretty funny. He was very entertaining to watch- very animated. Gasping- saying, "isn't it so cool" or "this is awesome! Can I open it?"

Blowing out the "fire!" He had the cutest little grin on his face!

*funny side note: I picked up His cake Friday afternoon and he really REALLY wanted to taste it but I said he had to wait for his party. He came up close to me with his pointer and thumb a distance away and said, "but how about this taste?" I said no. He moved them closer, "how about this taste?" I said no. He moved them closer (almost touching) and said, "how about thiiiiisss little taste?' I said no. Then throwing his hands to his side, he said, "But moooom, it says 'Happy Birthdy to Atticus!" I LOVE this boy!
For the 3rd year in a row I wonder why I even bother getting him presents. All this boy needs is balloons. He still LOVES his balloons. And yes we had to tie them to his bed for a birthday nap! Being the birthday boy is exhausting!

What a darling birthday party! You never disappoint! I can't believe Atticus is already 3 years old. That seems crazy! Have a very Merry Christmas!
