Thanksgiving Vacation...

We had a VERY special visitor for Thanksgiving... Grandma Lori! Atticus was in heaven because grandma mom played with him for hours on end. I was in heaven because, well to put it simply... I adore my mother.

The Swapp Family joined us for Thanksgiving and we had such a good time. Atticus and Aubrey played while the adults chatted and watched football. We of course ate and ate and ATE. Once again there was way too much food! Dessert was forcefully offered :)

Homestead Craft Fair The Swapp family joined us for a day "back in the day!" Although it was a much longer drive than I thought it would be (sorry guys) we had a blast. We watched horse farming, a dog sheep round-up, Grandma too the kids to the petting zoo, the daddy's and kiddo's made sail boats, and we ate fabulous food...Grandma bought an assortment of things for us all to taste test!

The finished "Tree of Thanksgiving" with our Indian... making many Indian faces. He made the head piece at pre-school. When we picked him up Grandma told him what an awesome Indian headdress he made. Mrs. G nicely nicely said, "It's a wompanot (sp?). We're pc here!" Once in the car, we laughed our heads oso hard. I guess it's never to early to be politically correct

We went to a darling Christmas Tree Farm. Atticus was in love with all the tree's. But one in particular caught his eye. He ran right up to it and excitedly informed us all that this was the perfect tree. The perfect tree price tag... $699.99. No joke!! After I broke the new that we would not be taking this tree home, he found a 6ft tree with "rainbow lights" with a small price of $199.99. Again I had to brake the new that that tree would not be going home with us. I quickly directed him to the bargain tree's.

Oh Christmas Tree. Oh Christmas Tree. Our beautiful tree with the price tag of $45. Atticus was VERY conerned the our Tree would fall off on the drive home. He told daddy every two seconds to drive slow on this road and this road and this road. He was very relieved to get our tree inside where it would be safe!

Atticus' very own Christmas Tree with rainbow lights. To say he LOVES it would be a huge understatement. When he naps and goes to sleep it goes by his bed. When he is awake, we take it downstairs in the toy room... so his cars can have a Christmas Tree too!
