Contact Sport

So apparently Golf is a contact sport... only when you decide to jump over a river. That's right my friends. Eric decided while golfing, he would jump over a river. Here's the story... Eric is developing his "draw" shot, which means that he curves the ball from right to left. Sometimes, they go way left. So he hit one ball onto an island in a river on the left side of the hole, and then hit another one in the exact same place. Out of frustration(and because he could not stand losing two good galf balls), he tried to jump over a small river. So he backed up about 30 yards and started sprinting, he jumped and came up about a foot(or 4) short. He not only missed the other side of the river, but fell backwards into the river(he also broke his phone in the attempt). This is the result: And these are the better looking shots! The swelling and bruising got worse each day!

The day it happened I asked Zeb if Eric was planning on playing basket ball with him that night. Zeb's text in response was this:
"Um..No.
Eric left golfing early and wasn't too happy with himself."
Poor Eric. Zeb said Eric's words were, "That was one expensive mistake."
But what would we do without good and entertaining stories like that one to tell?
The offer is still open for Zeb to give Eric a foot rub. :)

ouch Eric. I'm glad it wasn't as bad as they first thought but it still looks quite messy. The pictures Atticus are adorable. His cute face makes the photography great not the photographer. MOM

The feet kind of look like Leah's foot when she had the ant bite reaction, no?

I've done some silly things lately, too. Don't ask me how two of my best dishes were shattered on my kitchen floor in the same week...
