Today was Atti's 2 month check-up! He was such a trooper! His Pediatrician is very impressed with how alert and attentive he is! And agrees that his eyes are indeed blue! Dr. Chakmakjin asked about his feedings and I had to laugh.. the boy is nursing every three hours almost to the minute... He will be sound asleep then at 9:58am he is wide awake and very ready for his 10am brunch! Seriously, he is like clock work.
So here are his 2 month stats...
Height: 22 inches and in the 20%
Weight: 11.5lb and in the 50%
Head: 40 1/4cm and in the 60% (Good sign that he inherited Daddy's smart brain!)
The appointment went great until the dreaded shots.. Im a pretty brave person, but soon realized that bravery goes right out the window when it comes to your child. It took every ounce of strength in me to not break down and I still shed a few tears. Atticus however, held nothin' back. He had big alligator tears. It broke my heart, but he was a little trooper and with a little TLC from mommy calmed down. So needless to say it was Tylenol and cuddles all day long!
Atti's battle wounds...
Both mommy & Atti pretending it was a good experience!

Way to go Atti! You look like such a tough guy with your band-aids. Hey, I heard you got your Mom good today. Reagan likes to wait until we're in the car or out shopping to fill her diaper as well. You two already have so much in common!
I would love an announcement! He is the BEST.
I will be in Utah march 13th to april 3rd if you are in town I have to have to see your little guy.
Hope your having a great day.

Cindy, I don't know if you remember me but I met you and your round tummy at church with my daughter, Emily and Cali, my granddaughter...I have just been snooping around on your cute blog and wanted to welcome this sweet baby boy of yours! His photos are delightful and his smile could melt snow!! Kiss those chubby thighs for me!
By the way, I, too, am IN LOVE with a little red headed boy. Really! Yours has more hair than mine but it appears that redheads melt hearts at first glance. We have not set a date but I do have a ring and, at 52 years of age, can honestly say that he makes my heart sing.
The very best to your family...and keep those photos coming! Shelly Callister...twogals@cox.net
Cindy,
Just dropping in in an unexpected way to let you know that if you ever want to talk Babywise, call me or email me (ginnettewood@yahoo.com)!!! It is SOOO worth it!
Atti is beautiful!! Congrats!
I cried at Ava's 1st appointment & since then DADDY HAS TO COME...so Mommy can leave. :)
He is such a sweet sweet boy. I HATE taking them in for shots. It is SO sad. I'm sorry you had your first experience. You are such a sweet mom though...I loved that you cuddled him ALL day! So cute.
What a trooper...Good thing lots of loving makes it all go away! I must admit I cried too when Ethan and Chloe got their shots. I thought I was going to be fine with Chloe, but my mom started balling and that was the end of "tough" me!
Shots are the worst. I don't know who cries harder Jay or me!! I am dreading his 12 month shots, they have to give him like 45. I am making Jason take him and I'll probably still need a valium.
