It was a great day. Lots of great food. Surrounded by great family. Lots of things to be grateful for. After dinner was done, we each went around saying two things we were thankful for. When It got to me I tried so hard not get emotional...
Me: I'm thankful for my husband and four beautiful children.
Isaac: You don't have four kids. See, (holding up his fingers) Isaac, Isabel, and Lily!
Me: (Burst in to tears) Yes I do...
Eric: Count again dude- ATTICUS, Isaac, Isabel, and Lily!
Isaac: Why are you crying mom?
Me: Some days mommy misses Atticus so much it makes my heart hurt. So I cry a little then we blow kisses to heaven.
UGH.
But... I am THANKFUL. Not for the loss but for our amazing families both near and far who continue to carry us through. I'm THANKFUL for a loving Savior who sacrificed his life that we might live again.
Post feast shenanigans!

SO thankful for all the family that could be with us!
A farewell picture with Grandpa and Grandma- the troops had to head to the airport after church. We were so sad to see them go. Yes it was crazy but it was so much fun. It meant so much to us to have them come see us all the way in Texas. We spent 7 days playing laughing juggling babies cooking chasing and a whole lot more. We love you Hansen Fam! Thank you for a GREAT Thanksgiving!
Isaac and his "awesomely cool" trick!
I know I'm biased, but man he's one handsome kid!
November 30th
Isabel- Aye! She is a tornado. Making messes wherever she goes.
And quite proud of her work! Isabel is a crack up and like her older brothers she is hot and cold. Either so stinking cute we can handling stand it or a terror. She knows she's cute and pushes the envelope seeing how much she can get away with.
-(I told her it was time for her nap) "Noooo! In'a play play!"
-I was nursing Lily and Isabel came and took Lily's paci. I told her no-no that that's Lily's and she gave me this sweet innocent look and said, "No!! Bye-bye mom!! Happy Thanksgiving!" then walked out of the room!
-She is very polite. Even when she's crying. It is the cutest thing to here her say thank you i.e.: Oh Isabel, you look so pretty - "Thaaaaaank you!"
-She LOVES lips and any time she see's me wearing lip gloss or lipstick she wants some- so she asks for a kiss to get some off of me and on to her and she will usually say, "A Big One" so she can get lots of lips
-I have to hide the toothpaste because she'll eat it
-She loves to dress up and her favorite accessory are her sun glasses and crown
-She loves Olaf and his "In summer" song.
-She loves milk
-She is a terrible listener. Absolutely terrible. Good thing she's so cute.
-She loves Team UmiZumi
-She loves to get dressed and wants to put on her clothes and get a bow in her hair as soon as she wakes up. And just like her mom and dad, she loves shoes. Right now her favorite ones are her black church shoes, aka, "dancing shoes" and her gold shoes.
-She is a snuggle bug
-She can give looks that can kill. Seriously. She has some serious sass-a-frass faces.
-She is notorious for throwing her food on the ground when she's done and spilling her drinks just because (drives me CRAZY).
-She is an awesome sleeper and my only child that sleeps in past 6:30am. She gets up around 8am!
Lily's one month appointment-- She is perfectly petit just like her big sister. She is in the 4th percentile for her height and 4.5 percentile of her weight and doing great. She was up to just under 8 pounds gaining an ounce a day! Go Lily!!
She loves to be on her tummy- a little too much :)
"Sh sh sh! It's ok Lily-Loo!"
Oh Isabel- I just love you. But please for the love of man kind- don't kill your sister. It would be out of love of course but, holy cow, she smothers poor Lily with soooo much slightly crazy love. Here are a few things that I frequently here coming from this big sisters mouth... I'm pretty sure Isabel thinks she's the mom.
-Oh! Oh! Oh! Baaaaaby!
-I'n coming baby Yilly! (Her L's are pronounced as Y's)
-Where's baby Yily?
-Sh! Sh! Sh!
-I'n touch it
-What's dat? (me:your baby sister) In a hold it (it being Lily)
-I'n coming baby Yilly
The other day, I had put Lily in her swing then went in my bathroom to brush Isaas teeth for school. I heard Lily fuss so I walked out and had a dang near heart attack.
ISABEL HAD PICKED UP LILY
Instant panick. It was like slow motion in my mind. I was freaking out but new I couldn't yell, not wanting to scare Isabel and have her drop Lily on the hardwood floor. I flew from my room to the kitchen and just kept saying, "Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh." And thankfully made it Lily's rescue in time. Isabel had Lily held under her arm pit and around her neck. Thank you Atticus for protecting your baby sister. I was pretty shaken and probably held Lily a little tighter than she would have liked. I called Eric and said, from now on Isabel can NEVER be left alone with Lily. Lily needs to be chained wherever she is placed and Isabel needs to be chained on the complete opposite side of wherever Lily is!!! Holy moly.
