Thanksgiving week

Atticus' preschool "FEAST"
Obviously he was in a very photogenic mood! He had a great time and was very anxious to start eating. We LOVE his school. Our assignment was boring carrots...
Chunk! Oh how we love him! His personality is coming through more and more. He likes to be held more. Gets very excited about food. Gets a dimple in his chin when he cries. Has started arching his back and stiffening his legs when I try to put him in the hightchair or carseat-little stink. This little man had his 2nd haircut two days before Thanksgiving and didn't make a peep...not one- just sat on my lap and sucked his thumb. He is an absolute ANGEL!
P.S. Those pants are size 12 month and as you can see I had to squeeze him in to them!

...THANKSGIVING...

I realize that A LOT of cooking goes in to just one meal, but I love it. I LOVE Thanksgiving.

Atticus the chef! Yes it took longer to prep cook than it would have doing it on my own, but Atticus is my little cooking buddy and we had a great time. We chopped, sauted, stirred, and sang our hearts out to Christmas music.

I made enough brine for two turkeys, sausage apple stuffing, cornbread stuffing, 10 layer jell-o, rolls, pumpkin pie, dutch apple pie, and cherry pie! Atticus and I started prep work on Monday.

The Thanksgiving table... I wanted a pretty look this year! (On each plate was a paper pumpkin- in case you can't tell)

The crew... Hale's Hunley's and Swapp's. It was really fun. The kids played. The adults talked. And we ALL looked through the Black Friday adds! It was a really fun Thanksgiving. The Mamma's... The birds ..Brined..Fried..Smoked (yes Eric and I went a little CrAzY but we love to cook and love hosting parties)! They all turned out pretty good if I do say so myself!! Dinner time... (a good hour late!!) Our family... we remembered a picture once everyone had gone home! It was a wondeful Thanksgiving! We have so much to be grateful for!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
