Being the only one's in both me and Eric's families that live out of state, I make it a point to update our blog every Sunday. Obviously, I have not been very good lately and here's the reason, our computer is on it last leg so it takes FOR-EVER! I could use the laptop but Im not very MAC friendly. So that's my reason for being a slacker.
Trying to stay cool...
Ready. Set. Go.
He has the most contagious smile!
While Atticus played in the water, Isaac played with mom! I love the bottom right picture... look at all the rolls on his arms:)
Update on Atticus...
We met his pre-school teacher last Friday. Her name is Mrs. Cherry and she is absolutely adorable. Total Texan. He is so excited. The school is a bit of a drive 15-20min but I feel really good about the ciriculum and structure of the school. Its very similar to the preschool he went to last year (which we LOVED) but his new school implements an artist of the month. Im not super artsy but this program sounds so fun. When they study Michelangelo, she tapes paper under their desks so they can lay on their backs to paint. Atticus can hardly wait. Another plus is that our good friend Noah is in his class! He starts next week and will go Tuesday's and Thursdays.
My Mom came to visit last Wednesday to Monday. She had sent paper for Atticus to make a chain to countdown the days so Atticus was EXTRA excited for her to come. Last time she saw Isaac he was 3 wks old and a little peanut! He's chunked up quite a bit!
Before my mom got here she told my sister Stacie that all she wanted to do while in Texas was hold Isaac in one hand and play cars with Atticus in the other and tell me to "hang the picture a little more to the left!" That is exactly what she did. Both the boys (and I) were in heaven. We love it when she comes to visit. We did go swimming once, but other than that we stayed at the house and played. Atticus LOVES the game Memory and we played it over and over and over. I don't think Isaac was ever put down! We love you Mom/Gran!
Buddies
Isaac has had a BIG WEEK. He has made many discoveries.
DISCOVERY 1... He found his "mirror friend!"
DISCOVERY 2... Rolling over! On the 20th Isaac rolled over!!! Back to front. We were SO excited. The only problem is, he can't roll back. Once on his tummy he is stuck and cries and cries. That night I had to go up to his room to roll him back over FOUR times. Good thing he's so cute.
DISCOVERY 3... He found his TOES (one of my favorites)
DISCOVERY 4... ISAAC HAS A TOOTH!!! You can can'treally see it in the picture but it'sthere. His bottom left chomper has poked through. When Atticus felt is he started cheering Isaac on. It was the. cutest. thing. I love my boys. LOVE LOVE LOVE
His legs are so chunky he gets stuck in the baby bumbo! Seriously, his thighs are killer... we just have to squeeze this baby all day long.
