The past month...

I have been a BIG slacker. Here is what we have been up to for last month or so... DALLAS ZOO.

Just me and the bug! They give the kids their own passport. Big hit!

SWIMMING.

Jacie had just told Atticus she would swim with him! He LOVES her.

CHARMING CHARLEY.

A really cute jewelry shop. Atticus thought these braclets were his "powers" to get the bad guys. The scrunched face: him yelling... "POWERRRRR."

After the jewelry store we took Jacie to lunch at Mi Cocina. It has THE BEST chicken fajita quesadilla. Atticus was IN LOVE with the queso and dipped EVERYTHING in it... chips, tortilla, quesadilla, and limes. Yes. Limes. He kept telling me and Jacie, "This breakfast is so yummy!" (He gets his meals confused)!

RE-ORGANIZING.

Atticus decided that the eggs needed to be in the mushroom container and the mushrooms needed to be in the egg carton. Apparantly they were not in their correct "homes."

PETTING ZOO & FACE PAINTING.

Atticus was the cutest dalmation EVER and all 4 girls made beautiful princesses. They were all SO excited about their new look and kept looking at themselves in the mirror over and over again. Atticus included.

COOKING.

He loves to "cook." This particular time he wanted Jacie and I to taste his "yummy breakfast" so we played along and pretended (lots of noodles little bit of rice and TONS of salt & pepper). We of course told him how yummy it was. BIG MISTAKE. Then HE wanted to try it. I couldn't think of a way to convince him not too fast enough and... GULP. Atticus hasn't wanted to taste his yummy breakfast anymore!!

BASEBALL.

We play baseball at least twice a day.

TOY STORY 3 This boy looooves movies on the big screen and popcorn. He shovels it in.

Word of caution. Although the movie was cute. A particular monkey gave Atticus bad dreams on and off for two weeks. So cover your kids eyes. In his defense, it was pretty creepy.

ADDISON SPRAY PARK.

Every Thursday we meet our friends at the most awesome spray park/kiddy pool pods.

DALLAS ZOO.

Taking Daddy & Jacie to the new "Giants of the Savanna" exhibit.

GOOD MORNING.

Jacie was such a good sport. She had JUST woken up and Atticus wanted her to watch Curious George with her. When she sat down, he crawled right in to her lap!

Jacie flew to Idaho last Saturday to spend time with her Dad. We will definately miss her.

And as with all our visitors once they leave, Atticus is constantly asking where she is.
