Potty Training

Let me clarify... Our Attempt at Potty Training... For the last 3 months whenever we changed Atticus he wanted to go potty. So we jumped all over it. About two weeks ago I took his diaper off to go potty and he told me he could do it himself and shut the door on me. I opened it a tiny bit to see what he was up to... Apparently Atticus decided that he can stand and go potty just like dad and mom was NOT allowed. It is SOOO cute. SO...we bought pull-ups. We bought big boy undies. We talked it up... Day 1: GREAT only two accidents. Day 2: Nightmare. Total TOTAL meltdown. He did not want big boy undies. He did not want pull ups. He wanted his diaper. I decided not to push it (it is pretty early and I didn't want to make it a bad experience). So, Atticus is back in diapers but tells me when he needs to go and we take his diaper off- not every time but frequently!! Good job for trying buddy. We'll try again in the fall!

What is it about little booty's in big kid undies that makes them so flippin' cute? He looks so skinny. I promise I feed him he just never stops running!!
