Thanksgiving

We had such a fun Thanksgiving. The day was perfect. Great food and great friends. It is the 2nd year in a row that we have had the Askeroth family over for the big feast (our fam away from fam). Dinner was almost on time... thanks to the Fishs' oven! And it all was DE-lish. The only "yikes!" of the day... As I was arranging the food (hot dishes in my hands) Atticus decided he needed to be held and started pulling on my pants (comfy Gap tie ones)... He Pulled My Pants Down! No, this is not a joke. Just ask Tom and Emily. Everyone thought I was yelling because of the kids, but no, just yelling because my pants headed down to my ankles (I was able to grab the front at my knees after chucking food). I've never been so grateful for "mormon under-roo's in my life!" Sorry Askeroths, I probably scarred you for life! Although we all got a pretty good laugh. Just giving you a little "somethin-somethin" to remember us by for Thanksgiving 09. The bird! We decided to brine our turkey this year. It was SO good. 7-Layer Salad. A Hansen family tradition (that I forgot to put out until desert). I can't really figure out why its called 7-layer because it comes out as 10.. The Pies: Pecan, Dutch Apple, & Pumpkin! My greatest blessing-- two cute boys! Our Askeroth "Family"

That is HILARIOUS!! I am totally cracking up right now. I know what you mean though... I always always have to tie my sweatpants at the waist. Anyway, hope you have some turkey left over. I would LOVE to try it!

That's too funny! Parker has done that to me before, but thankfully I didn't have an audience to witness it!
I'm glad you had such a fun Thanksgiving. We're excited to see you in just a few weeks!

Ok, that is TOO funny! Yes, thankfully you weren't in your holiday undies. Dinner looked yummy! You're a rock star to pull off a meal like that! I'm not surprised. Hope the fam is doing well.
